Is It Time To Take A Different Route?

I did something I rarely do the other day. After dropping the kids off at school, I took the long way home. The long way only added maybe another 5 minutes, but it was a nice change. I think it is similar how we get stuck in certain routines in life. I believe sometimes we forget there are other ways of doing things.
I know I do this personally, and spiritually. I get stuck in a routine and I just keep going. It may not work, but I still keep doing my way. Why? Because that's the way I do it. But if my way isn't working, why not try another route. It might be a little longer, but the view might be nicer too.
1 Corinthians 12:6 "There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work."
Let's not get so caught up in ourselves, that we can't embrace new ways of doing things.  Philippians 3:15 "All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you." Change is ok. It can be great. It can also be scary, and uncomfortable. You know what also comes with change, growth.
So maybe in order to grow we need to take a different route occasionally. Maybe God is trying to show you a new route.

Dear Lord, I pray you let me know when to change my route. Don't let me get stale in my walk with you. Thank you for the Christian friends you have placed in my life. I pray God you bless those who read this, and show them beautiful new route to try, if even for only today.
                                Thank you Lord, amen.

Don't miss out on blessings because you won't try a different route.

My kuerig broke and I dug out a small percolator from my aunt from the 50s and thot how much work and time to wait for a cup of coffee. The change in my routine of instant coffee, became my time to remember that percolator in the 60s-70 at her house and her delish cake and visits. I realized my instant needs being met gave me no reflection for the gifts of today

    I will bring him,
